Production

Having a discussion about your needs before any project is key to managing your expectations and creating the correct budget that suits you.  A "One size fits all" solution is rare, but as a guideline our rates are as follows:

Recording:
 

From £20 per hour

(2 hours mininum booking)

​

Overdubbing (recording single source over existing material)

£35/hr (£20/hr under 21’s rate)

​

Singer Songwriter sessions (Live recording of instrument and vocals)

£45/hr (£30/hr under 21's rate)

​

Full band tracking day (8 hours)

£300 (plus £50/hr overtime)

​

  • Sessions typically run between 10am - 8pm but are flexible as per project.

  • A 25% deposit is required by BACS in order to secure your booking.

  • Balance of booked time due on first day of session

  • All sessions include an engineer & assistant.

Mixing:

From £150 per song

 

Unattended (We mix your song in our own time)

£150 (includes 1 revision)

Attended (We mix your song with your guidance)

  • ALL recorded material (physical & mechanical copyright) remains the property of Runway Studios until full balance of account is paid for project.

 

Mastering:

From £60 per song

 

Online digital (Send us your mix and we'll send it back mastered using software)

Online Hybrid (Send us your mix & we'll return it mastered using analogue hardware)

Peak Times are 18:30-22:30 weekdays & 11:30-21:30 Sat/Sun

Off Peak times between 10:30 & 18:30 weekdays.

PLEASE LEAVE THE REHEARSAL SPACE AS YOU FOUND IT - THIS INCLUDES DRUMS

 

  • Use of all backline & drum kit is permitted FREE-of-charge.

  • Full use of Kitchen, Free Tea & Coffee

  • Damaged equipment belonging to the studio during your session will be charged at 50% of it's "like for like" replacement value and will be payable BEFORE further bookings can be made. 

  • We accept no responsibility for your own equipment.

  • Block  sessions are available but with a maximum of 4 in succession.  We require a 25% deposit up-front to secure the session.

  • Deposits will be carried over to the LAST day of all successive bookings. 

  • 48 hour cancellation policy:- 50% of the total fee will be owed if  cancellation is within this.  This must be paid before any further bookings can be made.

  • A No-Show will result in a the full balance paid of the session before future sessions can be made.

  • Rehearsal times are booked with setup & breakdown times accounted for.     A TOTAL of 15 minutes leeway will be given either side of your session.

  • We Reserve the right to cancel ANY rehearsal with suitable notice.  Any deposits will be refunded or carried over.
