Whether it’s Vocal overdubs, A live acoustic session, or tracking a full band, Runway offers the highest standard of recording quality using our best selection of available microphones and pre-amps into high definition digital audio using state of the art converters and industry standard software. Theres is a choice of spaces to work in including our 500sq ft live room for a more open acoustic, a dry room for much more of a controlled sound, and a variety of isolated spaces too.

Sessions are individually structured around your requirements in order to optimise the use of the studio and your time, and our recording packages are tailor made to reflect that in whichever type of project you have.

 

Here is a rough guide to what we have to offer:

Vocal recording:

You provide us with your instrumental, and we’ll record your vocals over the top using our specially treated isolation booth.

We also cater for VoiceOver sessions which can be done to script, or to picture depending on your requirements.

Priced at £35 per hour with a minimum booking of 2 hours.

 

Overdubbing:

This is mainly aimed at artists and bands who wish to add more parts to an ongoing project.  

Priced at £40 per hour with a minimum booking of 2 hours

 

Solo Singer / Songwriter:

This is aimed at a performer who plays piano (or guitar etc) and sings at the same time.  This can be done in our great live room or one of the more sonically controlled booths depending on the type of sound you’re after.

Priced at £45 per hour with a minimum booking of 2 hours

 

Full band tracking:

Priced for full day we can cater for bands of most sizes and specialise in recording the majority of material as live performance, with additional overdubs where required.  We find a visit to the studio to meet the team, together with a brief discussion on exactly what your project entails is preferable to having a fixed fee.  Block booking days can save a lot of set up and tear down time, so therefore more can be achieved and savings can be made, but as a rough guide you could expect to pay anywhere between £300-£400 per day depending. A deposit is required to secure the booking.

 

All recording services include an engineer, and assistant where applicable, but the studio is also available on a dry hire basis with staff to assist an experienced engineer that you bring with you and employ yourself.
