Marc Joy is an experienced engineer/producer now working at Runway as our primary freelancer. He has been building his repertoire and credentials from his own studio in Wales (yes land of the sheep and leek!) but fell in love with the studio that rocks (that'll be us) and its crew, and is now looking forward to more Runway projects to get his teeth into.

Phil. On hand to take your booking, answer questions he doesn't know the answers to, and general be a thoroughly lovely bloke. He is also a very talented writer/composer and has written hundreds of tracks for tv/commercial commissions.

Chris. Our very own Pocket Rocket! Drummer with the band, Palahniuk, Chris loved it at Runway so much that he now works here part time. You'll mostly find him helping setting you up for your rehearsals... He makes a great cuppa and zips about with boundless energy making you feel welcome and in great hands.

ABOUT US Runway Studios is a studio facility that caters for bands and musicians who want to record and rehearse in an exclusive environment without exclusive prices. It's a very private (and interesting ex R.A.F.) location and you will be free to let rip! Recording bookings, are 8 hour days and include an engineer and/or producer if required, and all the tea and coffee you can handle. We care as much as you do in the quality of your recording, and do our utmost to give you the sound you're after! With a mix of analogue outboard (and top mics, incl. a U87 as used in Abbey Road and all the best studios!) plus the latest digital hard disk recording equipment, you get the best of both - a warm analogue 'real' sound, but with the ability to edit and tweak as needed to hone the tracks. IN THE STUDIO....	Local rock 4 piece ALIGHT have commenced their pre-production at Runway. Recording starts in August of a 2 track single that they will be self-releasing. The tracks are very strong and this band are likely to be turning heads really soon.
